Perusal Agreement For Keaton and The Whale

The libretto, recording demos, and poster (hereinafter “Perusal Materials”) are provided to you for the purpose of reading and reviewing for the possibility of producing a performance. If wishing to perform Keaton and the Whale, an agreement must be made in advance of starting rehearsals for the show. Perusal materials may not be copied or reproduced in any manner for any reason in whole or in part without the express consent of Emily Cindy Chiu and Molly Reisman (hereinafter “Authors”).

If, for the purpose of this Agreement, the physical holding of documents will be required, You will be entitled to photocopy them and make use of them solely for the purpose of reading and reviewing. The documents that will be photocopied or transferred on magnetic or digital media will be deemed to be loaned to You and to belong to the Authors, and will be returned to the Authors after use.

To preclude doubt, it is hereby clarified that the permission to photocopy as stated does not include permission for mass photocopying of all the documents. It is clarified that material from the Computer will not be transmitted to any third party.

Perusal Materials are on loan for a period of six weeks from the date of receipt. Access to the materials will expire after six weeks.

By selecting the "I Accept" button, you are signing this Agreement electronically. You agree your electronic signature is the legal equivalent of your manual/handwritten signature on this Agreement. By selecting "I Accept" using any device, means or action, you consent to the legally binding terms and conditions of this Agreement. You further agree that your signature on this document (hereafter referred to as your "E-Signature") is as valid as if you signed the document in writing. You also agree that no certification authority or other third party verification is necessary to validate your E-Signature, and that the lack of such certification or third party verification will not in any way affect the enforceability of your E-Signature. You are also confirming that you are the person authorized to enter into this Agreement. You further agree that the use of your E-Signature constitutes your agreement to be bound by all of the terms listed above in the Perusal Agreement as they exist on the date of your E-Signature on this form.
